My previous sunrise excursion seemed popular with the locals (the wife, as well as Thing 1 and Thing 2 (Baxter and Pebbles) ) so I thought I would try it again. This time I planned it in advance – and gave the wife fair notice. While the roads to the beach were nearly empty, we found a surprising amount of on-beach traffic. I wasn’t the only one with the whole “Greet the first sunrise of the new year at the beach” idea …
- Thing 2 and Thing 1 are busy fighting over a stick…
- Suitable for smart phone screens.
- “A new year dawns, will it be any better?”
- “Stranded starfish have no place to hide; still waiting for the swollen Easter tide…” – Peter Gabriel.
- Trying to get Baxter (the dog) to stand still while the taking the photgraph took many tries…
- The beaches in east central Florida are mainly finely crushed shells.
